It is a chemical additive with high thermal stability, resistant to high temperatures, which considerably improves the adhesiveness at the asphalt binder/aggregate interface. Its formulation contains chemical components that provide better affinity between aggregates and asphalt binders in the presence of water, preventing the displacement of the asphalt film that coats the aggregate.

Description
Description
ECO-DOPE CBAA It is a chemical additive with high thermal stability, resistant to high temperatures, which considerably improves the adhesion at the asphalt binder/aggregate interface.
Its formulation contains chemical components that provide the best affinity between aggregates and asphalt binders in the presence of water, preventing displacement of the asphaltic film that covers the aggregate.
Uses
Uses
ECO-DOPE CBAA It is used as an adhesiveness improver in asphalt binders applied in hot mixes (C.A.U.Q) or surface treatments.
Application
Application
ECO-DOPE CBAA must be added during the discharge of the asphalt binder into the deposit tank, and it is necessary to activate the circulation of the product in the tank, by pump, for a period of 60 minutes, for total homogenization. If the tank has agitators, it is not necessary to activate the pump.
The definition of the percentage to be added to the asphalt binder depends on the mineralogical nature of the aggregate. The definition will be made through adhesiveness tests, through ABNT NBR 14329:1999 or DNIT – DNER-ME 078/94 standard.
The percentage found determines the amount of Kilos (Kg) of ECO-DOPE CBAA for each ton of asphalt binder.

Recommendations
Recommendations
During handling, use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). In the event of an accident, consult the Safety Data Sheet for Chemical Products (FISPQ – No. CBAA.003).
Employment restriction
Employment restriction
Do not add ECO-DOPE CBAA in asphaltic emulsions, nor dilute it in water with other chemical products, as the product will lose its efficiency.
Handling
Handling
ECO-DOPE CBAA is framed by the UN (2735), as risk class 8 and risk number 80 (corrosive substances).
There is no need to preheat the product, only when the ambient temperature is below 15ºC.
Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Avoid contact with eyes. Wear protective gloves and goggles throughout the handling process.
Do not reuse the packaging to place food products, animal feed or drinking water.
Storage
Storage
The product can be kept in stock with the buckets properly sealed for a period of 365 days. After 20 days of storage, it is recommended to shake the product before adding it to the asphalt binder storage tank.
